What's on your to do list?
...comes from work not done."
-Eric Hoffer

One of the most common tools for being efficient is creating a To Do list.  Like everything else in life, it can be a blessing and a curse.  My To Do list feels almost like a magic wand; whatever I put on the list seems to get done, almost as if by magic.  However, sometimes there will be an item or two that keeps showing up, over and over and over again.  I keep feeling guilty about not getting to it and yet I don't ever make the time to get to it.

These types of items used to plague me for days, if not weeks until I figured out that these were the items based on other people's agendas or 'shoulds'.  Now I can acknowledge that I really didn't want to do them in the first place and simply remove them from the list.  It's one of the easiest ways to stop wasting energy.  Give it a try and see how quickly you feel better.

Here is the question:

What item(s) from your To Do list can you finally admit that you're not going to do?  How do you feel when you remove them from the list?
