"Just Because It's the Path of Least Resistance..."

Path of Least Resistance

...Doesn't Mean It's the Wrong Path."      - Natasha Romanoff

It seems to me that the path of least resistance gets a bad rap.  When I was looking for the quote for today's subject line, I found all sorts of quotes about how taking that path will:

     Never make you proud
     Guarantee failure in life
Lead to crooked rivers and crooked men

That's just naming a few!  I, on the other hand, believe that sometimes the path of least resistance is the only way to make forward progress.  When confronted with a challenge, it doesn't make sense to me to keep hammering away at it until I pulverize it.  There are so many aspects to every situation.  Maybe that one aspect you're hammering away at isn't ready to move.  Fine.  Just shift your focus to a different aspect of the issue or to a different issue all together.  Or maybe you just completely change your approach to the original issue.  It doesn't mean you give up; it just means that you change something about the dynamic so that the dynamic can change.  Because as the saying goes:  What we resist, persists.  There.  That was easy!

Here is the Question:
Where would the path of least resistance serve you today?
