Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.

What's the Right Way?

Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth."   -Marcus Aurelius

It can be very easy to believe that there is only one right way to do something. Take organizing for instance. So many people get stuck on how to begin because they don't want to do it wrong.  Clients ask me "Is this the right way to do this?"  My answer is always that there is no one right way, there is only the way that is best for each of us. We tend to assume that everyone else knows the secret to doing things correctly and that we're the only one out of the loop. This may come as a shock to you but there really is no standard to anything. We would have a lot less stress in our lives if we accepted the idea that whatever works for us is our right answer, So if you're currently stuck on an organizing project, ask yourself what you'd really like the space to look, feel and function like and then give yourself permission to do that.

Here is the question:

How would your life change if you believed that your way is the best way for you?
