The best of times, the worst of times
Music. We all have types that we like to listen to. Some of us embark on the arduous journey of learning to play the darn stuff. I happen to have picked the banjo. I love the sound of it! I know that probably puts me in a minority but so be it. Learning to play it has been both a joy and a terror. Playing a song really well feels great! There’s nothing quite like it. On the flip side of that, the process of learning something new can be so frustrating I’m tempted to toss the thing across the room!
But even though it can by very trying at times, I wouldn’t give up the experience of playing music.
Whatever instrument you have always thought of one day picking up, do it. Now! There’s no time like the present for embarking on a new adventure!
